I have been going to Dr. Pollard for over 30 years. I have always received the best care money or insurance can buy. Never any needless processes. I should know since my brother is a practicing Orthodontist in Calif.

The staff also has a great sense of humor, which is entertaining to say the least. Actually look forward to going to the dentist for just the entertainment value.

I went to Dr. Pollard after seeing a dentist in N Portland that did two root canals. I still have problems with them, but what was amazing was Dr. Pollard fixed a broken tooth and then noticed that a crown of mine looked unusual and at his request and cost took an x-ray and determined that I was in need of a tooth that needed to be removed or I was going to have serious problems. The first dentist didn't say a word or noticed anything unusual. Dr. Pollard recommended I see another dentist and I did and had it removed.
I appreciate his careful attention to his patients, and especially to someone he had never seen.

Dr. Pollard is a top-notch dentist with an excellent staff. My hygienist, Carol, is very sweet, and deft with the cleaning. His front office staff is very efficient, making sure I know about upcoming appointments, and they code my insurance claims correctly the first time.

I should also mention that Dr. Pollard likes to keep things light around the office, so be prepared to laugh even before they administer the gas.

All that and a great uptown location with free parking! Highly recommended.

I was referred here by a dear friend. Dr. Pollard is excellent. His staff is friendly, skilled and very pleasant. I have been going here for about 8 years now and look forward to my visits. I absolutely adore Dr. Pollard and his staff! Even with all of my TMJ issues, he is so kind and patient with me. The front desk staff and hygienists are wonderful and communication is top-notch. I have literally never liked a dentist before - so I am so glad to have found Dr. Pollard!

I have been going to Dr. Pollard for many years and he is absolutely the best. He has a great sense of humor and is the only dentist who respects my desire not to be x-rayed unless absolutely necessary. Other dentists won't do anything without a full set of x-rays. His daughter has just joined his staff, and I expect to get the same professional respect and attention from his daughter and everyone else in the office.

Yes, it's the dentist, no one wants to go to the dentist. But as a person who has seen many dentists over the years, I'll be with this guy till he retires. He's the best. I feel confident going in every time I'm not being forced to have and pay for x-rays or procedures I don't need, the office is always on time, and the hygienists as well as the rest of the staff are all very nice. What else can I ask for? Had an appointment yesterday, so, I'll see you in six months!
